Geni in a Scanner

My cousin Connie is doing her family and our Family on Geni -with pictures! Pictures she scans in from her parents collections -They are wonderful and bring back such memories. The one of my Grandmother Kate on her 80th Birthday is amazing. My parents are in their 80's and look much younger than Kate did. My Grandfather John, was 55 in this picture -I will be 59 in a week and I cant help but observe that time has treated me pretty well. I look back at the old time Photo's and see my Grandfather at 10 or 12 and immediately recognize his face as one of my cousins -my Grandfather's great -grandson.

 1955=;My Grandfather, John at 55,  looks on as his Mother, Kate cuts her 80th Birthday cake. Not until this moment did I realize she was 35 when she had her first child -my Grandfather- in 1900.
